Creative ceremonies, all about you
- Weddings and civil partnerships
- Vow renewals
- Naming and renaming ceremonies
A celebrant is someone who officiates at ceremonies to mark key life events. These include weddings, civil partnerships, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies and end-of-life ceremonies. Some celebrants offer all types of ceremony, whilst others specialise in one or two areas.
A celebrant will work closely with couples and families and build a special lasting relationship. It's this relationship that allows the celebrant to create a highly personalised ceremony, full of depth and meaning.
Some celebrants work for organisations such as Humanists; others, like me, are independent. An independent celebrant is not tied to any organisation, religious or otherwise. This means that you can choose whatever content you like for your ceremony. If you want to include religious or spiritual elements, you're free to do so.
A celebrant-led ceremony offers you the freedom and creativity to make your day your own. You can celebrate where you like, when you like and how you like. No rules, no restrictions, no limits!
